Lightning Beat Man & the Never Heard of 'ems - Apartment Wrestking Rock & Roll LP (199?, Voodoo Rhythm Rds)
This solo LP from the Monsters leaders is one of the best garage punk that ever came out from Switzerland, but also from the worldwide 90s garage punk scene.... simply killer trashy garage punk gems from start to end. And is one of the most wanted items in its original pressing... but there's been so many different pressings that everybody wonders what's the real first one.... I can tell you that it's not the famous die-cut sleeve with mask (3rd press actually), neither the also famous tissue sleeve one, that was available on tour only...no, this is this one, that really rarely shows up on ebay: the "blue and red" silkscreen pressing. As the subsequent pressings, it was pressed at 300 copies... but this copy is special, as it bears the number 1/300 on the back sleeve, hand numbered by Beat Man himself... and comes with a letter that was adressed to a guy in Italia, to who Beat Man sent out this first copy. Letter is signed also... anyway, to sum up the whole stuff, what you get here is the first numbered copy of the very first pressing of one of the greatest garage punk albums on earth ! ...
