Description

Lightning Hopkins

Blues In The Bottle

1961 USA RVG Deep Groove Original Pressing

Vinyl is Visually Oof! G+/VG-. Side one plays with some consistent background noise due to some slide marks (looks like it was dropped). Side two looks much better and plays with only minor background noise, still ok.

Disclaimer: This is a great introductory copy of a rare record. You are looking at a rare original pressing. The visual condition is well below my usual standard however, it does not skip. Please do not expect "Mint" grade. Sold As-Is.

All items will be carefully packaged for maximum protection removing the lp from the cover and placing it behind. Solid Eco-Friendly packaging, superior to average record mailers. We are veteran eBay sellers with over 20 years of Positive Vinyl Grading and Selling Experience. For combined shipping, just email the list of titles that you are interested in and we will combine them for you.

Heres a brief explanation of my grading system, followed by an overview of abbreviations you will encounter...

  • SS  Still Sealed - in factory-fresh condition
  • M  Mint - I don't use this grade.
  • M- Mint Minus - a near perfect record
  • Excellent a great record, slightly below M- but above average (VG+).
  • VG+ Average.
  • VG - Below Average but ok.
  • VG- More Of The Same - little Oof!
  • G - What A beautiful Mess, Oof! X2
  • Fair - Are You Kidding Me? Who Does This To Records? Oof! X4

 Oof! = Whoops?

Just a reminder: All transactions will be shipped to secure verified Paypal addresses only. This is the only address that I will ship too, so if your eBay address does not match your correct Paypal address, you need to fix this before making your purchase.

Overseas buyers are responsible for paying import and customs taxes based on their countries laws.

Please read: If you are using a Crosley or other player with a platter that is less than 12", please do not purchase from me. Platters less than 12" are not compatible with long playing records and will cause the vinyl to skip. I will not accept returns for records that skip on cheap record players. Thank you.
