Description
The following item is a very scarce 78rpm record by Harry James of "Lincoln's Gettysburg Address" from 1924. The reverse side of the record is "Memories of Lincoln". Copies of this record are extremely rare. this is the only copy we have come across in all our years of collecting. It is in excellent condition on both sides and comes in it's original sleeve. The sleeve is open on one side about 3 inches. This is an original 1924 printing. it is very unlikely that you will come across other copies of this title. It was produced by The Brunswick Balke Collender Company in 1924. This record can still be played today but extreme care needs to be taken and it needs to be played on the proper equipment designed to play this style of record or it can be damaged. an excellent chance to own an original copy of this title.
Note: If you go to authentic history.com and type in Harry James, this record will be number 12 on the list and will take to you an actual recording of the record to listen to. It is a great piece of history.
