Description
180 Gram Vinyl Recorded, Mixed and Mastered on Analog Tape! Includes CD of the Uncompressed Vinyl Master!
The fifth solo album from Lindsey Buckingham, "Gift of Screws" unites the broad appeal he showed as the main musical force behind Fleetwood Mac with the spirit of pop experimentalism he displayed on the landmark albums "Rumors" and "Tusk" as well as his solo disks. A rocking complement to his critically acclaimed acoustic guitar driven 2006 album "Under The Skin," "Gift of Screws" brings together new songs with fully realized tracks penned years ago for a musical gift from the much hailed singer-songwriter-guitarist.
Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975. The subsequent success of the group’s self-titled album was followed by the recordbreaking Rumours and Tusk. In 1981 Buckingham released his solo debut, Law And Order, with its Top 10 “Trouble.” 1984’s Go Insane spawned the Top 30 title track. Buckingham exited Fleetwood Mac in 1987 and his 1992 solo Out Of The Cradle scored the Top 40 Mainstream Rockers “Countdown” and “Wrong.” 1997 saw the Rumours lineup reunite and in 2003 the band’s most recent album, Say You Will, went Top 5.
