Original 1981 U.S. pressing of Linton Kwesi Johnson’s landmark “Dread Beat An’ Blood,” issued as Heartbeat Records catalog #01, the label’s first release. A historically important dub poetry/roots reggae album featuring Johnson’s powerful spoken-word delivery over heavy reggae rhythms associated with Dennis Bovell. Vinyl shows visible signs of previous use and has not been play tested. Cover shows age-related wear, discoloration and edge wear. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
