Description
A very rare studio acetate containing “Traffic Light” a never-released jam featuring Gene Krupa and trumpeter Cat Anderson. The disc is an original transcription from Hampton’s 1971 TV special One Night Stand. “Traffic Light” starts out with schmaltzy female vocals that scream 1971, but turns sweaty and transcendent about halfway through. The other side is a slow tune called “Cool Autumn Wind” with Mel Torme on vocals. Both sides in excellent condition.
