Little Dragon - the groundbreaking Swedish band around the enigmatic singer Yukimi Nagano, multi-instrumentalists Håkan Wirenstarnd and Fredrik Wallin on keyboard and bass and Erik Bodin on drums and percussion - are back with their sixth studio album New Me, Same Us.

For a band that prides itself on being out of the ordinary listening habits and that is determined to make things happen on their own terms, they haven't had much mainstream recognition so far. With the Grammy nominated for their album Nabuma Rubberband in 2014, Little Dragon has long been one of the most sought-after groups for collaborations. Over the years, an enviable list of artists with whom they have worked has come together, including, for example, BADBADNOTGOOD, Gorillaz, SBTRKT, Flying Lotus, Flume, Kaytranada, Big Boi, De La Soul, DJ Shadow, Tinashe, Mac Miller, Future, Raphael Saadiq or Faith Evans. Their infamous live performance has resulted in a ten-year touring career, during which they recently co-headlined a show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles with Flying Lotus, as well as at some of the world's most respected festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Bestival, Lollapalooza, Melt !, Dour, Sónar and the Festival of Tyler, The Creator, Camp Flog Gnaw, have performed.

Produced and recorded entirely alone and without outside support in the long-standing and self-built home studio in Gothenburg, New Me, Same Us represents another chapter in the continuous development of Little Dragon. With their unique style, they find a new direction of leisurely, unconventional R'n'B, pop and electronics, making them sound as rejuvenated and energetic as ever. The record also testifies to a reflective mood, with Yukimi's unmistakable voice, which reflects on transitions in life, longings and farewells.
