Description

I purchased this album in the secondary market, from the original owner who retained the original MoFi shrink, advertised as near vinyl and an excellent jacket and following my own appraisal I agree with this.  After a light cleaning I played the album through the Grado’s and the sound was perfect.  After a visual inspection I found each side only contained a faint mark or two (no more than 1mm and these things took me some looking to find) and again, had no impact at all on the sound however based on this I am scoring the vinyl a 95 (although the sound was a perfect 100%, and it was the first time I heard this album front to back and I was blown away, guys were wicked tight). The cover is very close to near mint however the corner wear, which I attempted to capture, is slightly more than qualifies for an top score.  The seams and spine are all tight although there is some light wear within these areas.  The front and rear cover show only nominal rub wear and this all having been said numerically I score the cover an 87, a very solid B+.  Regarding shipping the album is shipped within cardboard but with the vinyl outside of the jacket inside of a Whiplash record mailer.  If you have any other questions please let me know and thank you for looking!
