Description
A rare one! Vinyl is VG - has light marks light hairlines. Nothing that will cause repeating ticks, will have some light background noise but still very enjoyable
Not enough is known or written about this wonderful preacher, singer & songwriter. Joseph Carroll Hatfield was a Oneness Pentecostal minister and son of Rev Herbert Hub) R and his wife Harpie Puckett Hatfield. Known as Little Joe, he was a resident of Henderson KY most of his life. Joe was one of a handful of people who were members of The Gospel Echoes the group that would eventually be known most notably as the Rambos. Dottie, Buck & Joe recorded at least one lp together before he left the group. Joe was BMI-affiliated songwriter and a prolific one too. He wrote “Getting Ready Today” and is said to have written and sold several hundred songs over his lifetime, many of which he never got or received proper credit for. He recorded at least two solo lp’s i’m aware of.
Hatfield passed away October 27, 2000 in Henderson, Kentucky at the age of 60.
