Description

Mega rare 1st press promo on the original label Donna Records. Classic East Los Angeles Soul 2 sider. “I Been Trying” is a pre-Love track written by Arthur Lee. SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS I COMBINE SHIP ON USA ORDERS ONLY.

CONDITION: I’m being honest as a fellow 45 collector. I consider the “I Been Trying” side a lower level VG+, light surface marks plays really clean VG+.

“I who have nothing” side I’m grading at VG due to scuffs and a hairline scratch. It plays ok but does have a some distortion and light surface noise due to groove wear. This track is a low budget wall of sound rip and is generally a distorted recording to begin with. It doesn’t piss me off or offend my ears too much to listen to.
