N/Mint This record itself is in near brand new condition with no surface marks
or deterioration in sound quality + cover in unmarked condition
Ex+ Better than EX but not N/Mint
EX This record shows some signs of having been played. May Have slight surface marks
with no lessening in sound quality (it may have the odd crackle or tick) the cover and
packaging might have slight wear / or creasing, May have writing or sticker marks on label
VG+ Better than VG , but not EX
VG This record has obviously been played many times but displays no major
deterioration in sound quality. Possible noticeable surface marks or light scratches
and normal wear and tear on cover
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality is noticeably
deteriorated perhaps with some distortion and deeper scratches . The cover may suffer
from folding, scuffing on edges, spine split, discolouration or slight tears
POOR Plays with bad scratches, sound deteriorated ok for car boot sales
