Description

Here is another prized piece from my personal collection.


The cover shows only minimal shelf wear. No ring wear. No writing. At one time there were partial splits at the opening top and bottom but these were repaired nicely. No other serious flaws. The color is still quite vibrant. And what a cover it is. The record itself has various light marks. Nothing feel-able. I just put the record to tape and the fidelity is quite strong, bold and LOUD. There are some ticks between song but no distracting noise during the songs themselves. A very enjoyable listen. None of that scratchy sound that can happen on these older KING records. Play graded with a Thorens table a MONO cartridge because that’s how these records should be played. The mono stylus hits the grooves in a different way than a stereo stylus. I used to think that was a lot of hooey until I equipped a second turntable with a mono cartridge.
