Description
This is from my personal collection - I have decided to sell a few box sets that I rarely spin to make room on my shelf.
This box set has been played through 2 or 3 times. A few times when I first got it and once to play test prior to creating this listing.
The outer box and individual photo sleeves are in NM condition. I do not see any issues here whatsoever. I replaced the paper inner sleeves with anti-static rice paper inner sleeves from QRP.
The LP's have a few minor imperfections, but nothing that really affects my enjoyment or listening experience. I will describe them below from my recent listen:
- 3 moderate pops approximately half-way through #41 (A2). There is a single pop per rotation for 3 rotations.
- Brief distortion/ripping noise in left channel for about 1 second at the end of Minarets (D1), Typical Situation (E1), Stream (E2), Little Thing (H1), Halloween (H2) and Two Step (H3). All of the above are after the music stops when the crowd cheers begin. None of these happen during the music.
I will package safely in a box-set sized Whiplash LP mailer with the box secured in bubble wrap as shown in the photo.
