Description
Harmony HL-8528. Stereo. Hecho En Mexico. As Harmony was the budget label for Columbia in the USA, I imagine it served the same purpose in Mexico, "Un Producto De Discos CBS" it says beneath the logo. So I don't know the origin of these tracks or if these bands were a part of the Discos CBS artist roster. What we have are 5 different bands singing Creedence Clearwater Revival songs in Spanish: Los Tequilas, Las Ventanas, Los Hongos, Las Moskas, and Las Yerbas. The back cover and label scans above will give you the bands and titles in English and Spanish. The 4:16 "Born On The Bayou" by Las Moskas and "Graveyard Train" (5:00) by Los Hongos are standouts, but the whole LP sounds great. The cover is in nice shape, no splits, but an ink scribble on the front makes it VG. Disc has light scuffs, but plays VG+. You can hear a sound sample featuring two tracks from each side of the LP by clicking here:
