Description
Miracle Records (002) 1959 female teener 45 rpm single release from SHARON SCOTT. Tracks are: WHISPERIN' / PLEASE TELL ME WHAT.
There's not much out there about the single but have been able to cobble together a little. It is a Rite Custom press dating it to 1959. Both trail-offs have NRC etched in them so along with the Chuck Coffey credits, it would be safe to say it's Georgia (most likely recorded in Atlanta). There is at least (and probably only) one other single on the label - Miracle 001. It's a rockabilly by KING VICTOR with CHUCK COFFEY & THE STERLINGS.
These are a couple female vocal teen pop tunes. There's a male vocal back-up on one side and a little guitar work on the other.
VG- condition - there is a bit of lustre left but also a lot of light scuffs and light scratches. WHISPERIN' plays through to better grade but the filp does have noticable backgrough noise.. The sound files are from the offered 45 tracked at two grams. Buyer pays $3.50 First Class shipping in the U.S. Overseas Airmail is $12.75.
