Music World Records (MW-210) 1970 45 rpm single release from TOM PARKER. Tracks are: THE CHITTERLING STRUT / BIG BOSS MAN.
The small town of SALLEY in SOUTH CAROLINA has been holding an annual festival for the last 51 years called THE CHITLIN' STRUT celebrating that classic fried Southern delicacy, the Chitterling. This is from 1970, and expect it was recorded to promote the festival in its early days.
I'm sure the B-Side was a filler but it always pays to turn the record over and give it a spin. There's a nice cover of BIG BOSS MAN. It's a surprising Guitar - Hammond Organ mover.
VG+ condition with just some light sleeve scuffs and a couple micro-scratches (a couple tics at the intro). The sound files are from the offered 45 tracked at two grams.
