Kenny & Jim met at Columbia Records and just started “sitting in” (which would be the name of their next album) and playing together. Kenny was a songwriter for Wingate Music and Jimmy had been in Buffalo Springfield and later with Poco. Their chemistry was immediate and “Your Mama Don’t Dance” peaked at #4 and became somewhat of a humorous, tongue-in-cheek anthem against authority. This album also contains the breathtaking “Thinking of You” (#18), the romantic “Lady of My Heart” and the emotionally charged “Angry Eyes.”
