Description

London CS 6126, BORODIN, Symphony No. 2, Symphony No. 3, Prince Igor Overture, 1E/1E, blue back, ffss pressing. This is NOT a reissue – it is the original 50+ year old, 1E/1E pressing.  It spent many years HP's TAS Super Disk List and is rated 19 out of 20 by Moon and Gray.  The sound is rich, full and detailed with a VERY big stage and powerful bass. This copy looks and plays virtually new.  I cannot find anything wrong with it.  The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy, and exceptionally quiet with NO pops, clicks, tics, or skips - it is dead quiet, with NO marks whatsoever. The vinyl looks and plays mint (M).  The labels also look new (see photos).  The inner sleeve is has some creases around the rim of the record, so I will grade it EX. The jacket also looks new and grades NM. There are no seam splits or any other defects that I can see, other than a very slight manufacturing defect in the lower left corner (see photo).  In summary, this is a MINT copy of this wonderful golden age recording.
