Glenn Frey & J.D. Souther “Longbranch/Pennywhistle” RARE PROMO COPY Of 1969 Pre-Eagles Album!
Hard-to-find, obscure 1969 promotional pressing of “Longbranch/Pennywhistle” by pre-Eagles Glenn Frey and J.D. Souther (who later wrote much material for Eagles and Linda Ronstadt) on Amos label. This rare pressing is their lone LP and featured outstanding session musicians, such as James Burton, Buddy Emmons, Larry Knechtel, Joe Osborn, Jim Gordon, Ry Cooder, and Doug Kershaw. Pleasant Southern California country rock with a hint of things to come. Gatefold cover in nice shape with normal wear and opens to reveal song lyrics. Visually graded, vinyl appears to be clean and playable with some surface scratches/scuffs. Amos Records AAS 7007. Winning bidder please add $2 for insurance. Thanks for looking.
