Description
This is a copy of the LP Blues By Lonnie Johnson, first pressing UK issue from 1960 on Prestige Bluesville BVLP 1007 (Prestige Bluesville 1007 on cover).
The etched matrix no.s are BVLP. 1007. A . A RVG and BVLP - 1007 . B RVG. RVG are the initials of engineer Rudy Van Gelder.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes. It plays perfectly with no background noise. There are a couple of very faint surface marks that are inaudible. Without these I would grade it Near Mint. The labels are spotless with no stains, spindle lines, writing, stickers or scuffs.
The front-laminated thick card cover (printed in Italy) is in Excellent condition. There are no stains, tears, tape, splits, shelf wear, ring wear, stickers or writing. There are just one or two tiny creases in the laminate and a tiny dent / scuff at the top of the spine. The spine is perfectly readable.
The generic, white paper inner sleeve just has some handling creases and some faint ageing / browning.
