Description

Lonnie Smith's 1971 release "Mama Wailer," used vinyl LP in Excellent Condition inside (vinyl) and Very Good Condition outside (Liner, Inlay Sleeve).
LP on Kudu Records (a division of CTI) KU-02. This is the original analog stereo recording.
LP includes Grover Washington, Ron Carter, Billy Cobham, Airto and others, a veritable who's who of Jazz greats playing Lonnie's impeccable brand of streetwise soul/funk/jazz.
Rudy Van Gelder Engineer, RVG initials etched and RVG stamped into deadwax.

Prior to play-grading the album was cleaned using the Spin Clean MKII Record Washing System. Clean black vinyl LP play-graded Excellent Condition. High shine, no visible scratches, skips or warping.
LP plays quiet with spare ambient noise, if any. No major snap crackle or pop, almost zero intermittent noise.
Record labels are clean, text is easily readable. No excess spindle hole wear or errant spindle hole marks.
Liner is graded Very Good Condition, with minor wear commensurate with normal use. Minor ring wear front and rear. Moderate lower spine shelf wear.
Fiber is clean and sturdy. Colors are bright and liner text is easy to read. Spines are straight with no seam splits. Minor corner rub.
No cutout marks, drill holes, saw cuts, clipped corners, major creases, water stains, brown stains (foxing), ink or pen marks. Small star sticker rear.
Original Kudu inner sleeve (inlay) in Very Good Condition with normal wear. Small tear topside as shown in inlay photo. LP also comes with an aftermarket anti-static/scuff polylined paper sleeve.

Play-graded on a Pro-ject Xpression III Turntable with Ortofon Red 2 stylus and cartridge tracking at 1.8g.
