“Merrie Melodies” Warner Bros. #PRO 423. 1970 3LP promo sampler box set from Warner Brothers features cuts from: 5.5 Richter and Above, Faces, Black Sabbath, Little Feat, Hard Meat, Fleetwood Mac, Jimi Hendrix, John Simon, Ry Cooder, Randy Newman, Gordon Lightfoot, Jimmy L. Webb, “Performance,” Little Richard, The Grateful Dead, Van Morrison, The Kinks, Arlo Guthrie, The Beach Boys, The Youngbloods, Jeffrey Cain, Lovecraft, Sweetwater, Captain Beefheart, The Mothers of Invention, Frank Zappa, Beaver and Krause, Alice Cooper, Pearls Before Swine, James Taylor, Harpers Bizarre, Van Dyke Parks, The Persuasions, and Turley Richards. The Hendrix cut is a rare non-LP cut – “Stepping Stone.” Set includes the booklet which is in mint condition. All 3 vinyl are in VG++ condition. Box is in VG+ condition. There’s light general wear and a sticker on the front but all seams & corners are intact.
