Description

This is Argo Records LP-694, Lorez Alexandria Deep Roots, a gray label, original mono issue of this wonderful vocal session featuring John Young and Howard McGhee. The record is in VG++ condition showing only light paper sleeve marks. The record plays quietly with no distortion of the music but has unusually loud crackle in between tracks. The cover has some foxing and writing on the back but is otherwise excellent and intact. The original thumbnail inner sleeve is included. The labels are excellent. A fine collector's grade copy of this  beautiful original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
