Description
Here’s a very rare 78rpm record by the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel Trio! It’s on the Okeh label, number 41064. Songs are “Clowin’ The Frets” and “Hard To Get Gertie”. This record was recorded in 1928 and features some great (and somewhat zainy) Hawaiian guitar work. It is thought the A side title might be a misprint, perhaps “Clownin the Frets” or “Clawin’ the Frets” was intended. This record grades in the VG range, light graying to the grooves and some moderate scratches throughout the disc that don’t seem to sound. Plays well with typical background crackle throughout. Labels are clean, no major issues to report. The A side song is up on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytMr5bhwsjo Drop me a message if ebay doesn’t calculate shipping for you. Happy bidding!! blues
