?? READ BEFORE BIDDING ??
By bidding, you agree to our 2026 Terms & Conditions.
?? NOTA IMPORTANTE / IMPORTANT NOTE ??
ENG: The SALES TAX paid at checkout DOES NOT COVER import duties/tariffs; these are two separate charges. We provide this clarification due to multiple claims from buyers unfamiliar with new U.S. trade regulations. These are not hidden fees; eBay explicitly alerts buyers that international purchases are subject to import charges.
At WorldBeat Records Mexico, we appreciate your passion for music. While many of our regular collectors are fully aware of international import fees, we understand that some buyers may be new to these requirements under the 2026 trade laws.
GOVERNMENT FEES: Please note that any import duties or tariffs are solely the buyer's legal responsibility. These charges are entirely external to us; we do not receive, collect, or profit from these government payments.
- Government Authority: Amounts are determined strictly by a U.S. Government Customs Agent. We have no control over their assessment.
- Professional Transparency: We understand these costs can be frustrating, but they are mandatory legal requirements.
- Commitment: To ensure a smooth transaction, please read the full description before bidding.

Los Cantaritos del Ritmo (The Little Rhythm Pitchers) is an emblematic cumbia group from the Pueblo de Santa María Aztahuacán, in Iztapalapa, Mexico City.
I. 📅 Origins and Unique Style
Founding: Founded in 1977 by Mr. José Cedillo Castañeda, initially focusing on young people and children (including his son, Isauro Jesús Cedillo Alonso).
Initial Name: They were briefly known as Los Vagabundos del Ritmo.
Distinctive Sound: Their cumbia style was characterized by the presence of a child's voice, which immediately set them apart in the musical scene.
Early Exposure: They quickly gained popularity by playing at local events and receiving airplay on various radio stations.
II. 💿 Key Discography and Labels
The group consolidated a discography of more than 20 productions throughout their career, recording for several important labels:
• Recorded for AMS Records.
• Four LPs for Latin Records.
• Several 45 RPM singles and a compilation LP for Discos Room.
III. ✨ Sonidero Anthems
Among the songs that made them famous and are still a pillar in sonidero dances are: "Un Mexicano en Colombia", "Cumbia a Media Luna", "Negra Cumbiambera" and "Cumbia Campesina".
IV. 📜 Legacy
The original group remained active until 1999, when it disbanded. Despite the separation, their music and their unmistakable style continue to be a lasting reference in Mexico's sonidera culture.
