   For sale is Los Lobos' By The Light Of The Moon, originally released in 1987 by Slash Records. In the dead wax between the label and the last track are the matrix numbers SH-3/SH-3 and "delta 15074-X". These etching indicate that an early stamper was used to make this first edition, pressed at Monarch Record Manufacturing, Los Angeles, California. According to the liner notes, it was mastered by Bernie Grundman at Grundman Mastering, Hollywood, California. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, resulting in superior sound quality, sought after by collectors and music lovers. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put the album into a MFSL archival inner sleeve.  Doing this protects the integrity of vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is Near Mint. The cover is graded as Excellent with two minor corner blunts and a creased corner. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. I'm play grading it as Near Mint. This is the best copy of this record that I have ever seen or heard. You would be hard pressed to find a copy in this condition, being that it is a Monarch, first edition pressing. I have more Latin albums, as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store.
