Description
Lou Donaldson (with Curtis Fuller, Arthur Taylor, Sonny Clark, Donald Byrd, George Joyner) LOU TAKES OFF Blue Note 1591, recorded 1956. One side is Deep groove. “RVG” and ear stamped into wax. 63d Street addresses on both labels. Jacket is E+ / NM-: all corners are white, but only locally: all edges perfect, and fields very clean: back cover has faintest ring-wear starting. An excellent specimen! Side A looks E+ and plays E+ / NM-. Side B has some surface impressions from the sleeve, but non-sounding, Plays E+ and better. Spin hole shows no trace of play whatsoever.
