Description
Lou Donaldson “Wailing with Lou’” 1957 deep groove pressing Blue Note (# BLP 1545 mono) in a cardboard sleeve. This is the “unframed” cover edition with the New York 23 address printed on both labels. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+). My grading is only due to a small mark on Side 2/track 1 a few minutes into the track that produces a light tick for ~30 seconds. The rest of the album is EX - it plays very well with robust fidelity. The following is on the runout groove:

NOTE: This is a very heavy album - definitely in the 180-220g range.
The outer case is also Very Good Plus (VG+). Both covers are smooth & clean with minimal age wear. There’s a small “bend” at the top left-hand side of the cover. The top seam has a 3” split at the opening; the bottom seam has <1” split at the opening. The spine has a 1-½” scrape towards the top. Overall, the cover is very sturdy. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.
This album will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail & insured for the full sale value at my cost.
NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
