Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Lou Donaldson “Quartet, Quintet, Sextet” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1537. The flat-rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; just two very light tics on Side 1, Track 2; perhaps played once. The coasted Lexington Avenue frame cover is bright and clean throughout; the top seam shows 1/8” rubbing at the spine corner and ½” rubbing at the opening; the bottom seam shows rubbing and a 3 ¼” split at the opening.
