We at Mission Records regard it as an honor and priviledge to sign in contract The Moser Brothers. It is due to their Christian attitude and loyalty to Gospel music that Mission Records chose this group to represent in East Tennessee the idea for which the word Mission stands. As we all know, Christ was sent into the world for a mission, therefore, as it was Christ’s mission to offer salvation to a lost world, so is it the aim of Mission Records to offer Christ to all who would believe in him. For this reason, Mission Records would never knowingly record anyone who was attempting to sing the gospel without having accepted Christ as his own personal savior. The Moser Brothers of Lenoir City, Tennessee composed of M. L. Moser -- first tenor and manager, Tom -- lead, Doug -- baritone, Stan -- guitar, and Betty, wife of Stan -- piano, are considered to be one of the fastest rising gospel groups in the country, in respect to public response through concerts, television programs, and regular perform- ances. The Moser Brothers are unique in present- ing a new concept of Gospel Music -- utilizing both new and old hymns as they present their versions of true South Land harmony. As dedicated Chris- tians the Moser Brothers always exhibit a testimony of faith in Christ in every performance. It is their belief that faith in God and in our country appears to be our only hope of salvation in these trying days. The Moser Brothers wish to dedicate this album to you their many friends who have supported and encouraged them throughout their singing career. But, they feel especially obligated to dedicate this album to Rev. and Mrs. Charles Powell, owners of Powells Cafeteria and Trailways Bus Station in Lenoir City, for their encouragement and highly coveted influence and assistance in making this album.
