Louis Armstrong And His Hot Seven--OKeh 8482 Blue Label
Original 78rpm record, OKeh 8482, Louis Armstrong And His Hot Seven, Willie The Weeper b/w Alligator Crawl. Originally recorded in Chicago May 1927 and re-released on the OKeh blue label used from about 1931 to 1934. Playing surface is bright and shiny, with a few minor scuffs and scratches. There is a surface hairline crack to the A side at 1 o'clock position [does not affect playing], and there is a large index sticker on the A side label as well. Still a nice example of a somewhat hard-to-find reissue label and is in Very Good [VG] condition--would be better were it not for the hairline and the sticker. Any questions please feel free to ask.
78RPM RECORD SHIPPING PROCEDURE: Record is sleeved in a heavy duty plastic bag, with three pieces of stiff cardboard on each side, securely taped to prevent sliding. Assembly is then wrapped in double layers of bubble wrap and packed in a stout, well-marked box. Will be glad to combine shipping on multiple records.
