Description

"West End Blues" b/w "Fireworks" by Louis Armstrong & his Hot Five. Recorded June 27 & 28, 1928. Issued on OKeh 41078. Condition is V, although each side improves as it progresses towards the center. "West End" side has a 1 1/2" scratch that makes a slight ticking (see 3rd scan). Also a small indentation that thumps briefly. "Fireworks" has a needle run (see 4th scan) that skips, unfortunately. Rest of side plays fine. Grooves are grayer than on "West End" side, but somehow, it plays better. Tiny rim chip doesn't go anywhere near grooves. Labels clean. Domestic shipping is via USPS Media Mail ($5.00)
