Description

Louis Prima with Sam Butera and the Witnesses - One-Sided Acetate 45 RPM “Sugar”
This seven-inch one-sided acetate contains the song “Sugar” which was issued on the artist’s own Pr1ma Magnagroove label in 1973 on the album, “Just A Gigolo”.
The acetate is in its original Audiodiscs sleeve with a red “from Larry Gallagher” stamp. The condition is M- (mint minus) with plenty of shine. The generic white label has the time (2:35), “stereo” and the artist and title typed in black ink.
Provenance: This copy was in the collection of Rhode Island and Massachusetts disc jockey and program director Ken Rapoza who was active from the mid-1960s until his death in a 1987 motorcycle crash.
The record was inherited by a friend and fellow collector in Massachusetts and remained in his archive until his death in 2024.
