Description
I am in the process of de-cluttering my house and sadly it is time to dispose of several hundred classic LPs. These all date from the mid 60s to the 80s.
All my LPs will have been played at least once and some of them several times. They have however been properly looked after and stored over the years and I am only listing LPs which play to a high quality. Each LP has been played in full prior to listing so my assessment is of the whole record, not just a few samples. My assessments of the quality of the vinyl, sound reproduction and sleeve are based on the widely accepted Record Collector definitions.
This album will be sent by first class mail in the UK or airmail if abroad. It will be bubble wrapped and then sealed in specialist hard card packaging specifically designed for LPs. Please note that the P&P charge is higher than my normal price because it is a double LP.
Postage discounts are available for multiple purchases - please contact me for details.
I prefer payment by PayPal but will accept personal cheques, subject to the cheque clearing before the goods are dispatched.
This copy of Love's 1970 double LP "Out Here" is a UK pressing on the Harvest label - catalogue number SHDW 3. This line up of Love included the excellent guitarist Jay Donnellan and drummer George Suranovich who gets to play an extended drum solo on "Doggone". I saw this line-up in the early seventies and this drum solo was the best I've heard. The album is in excellent condition and all the tracks play perfectly and very clearly with virtually no crackle or other surface noise. The vinyl has very few superficial surface marks, certainly nothing out of the ordinary for an LP of this age and nothing which affects the quality of playback. The laminated gatefold sleeve is also in really excellent condition with hardly any creasing or scuffing other than what you would expect through normal usage. The album's early authenticity can also be seen by the original price sticker for 57/6 (see picture). I can't really believe I'm selling this as it holds lots of memories for me, but there's no turning back now!
