Description
On offer here is a
copy of False Start by Love, released on the Blue Thumb label in 1971, catalogue number BTS 8822.
Love, fronted by Arthur Lee, released most of their material in the late 60's and early 70's and this was one of their later albums which featured Jimi Hendrix who arranged and played on the first track on the album, The Everlasting First.
The thick black card gatefold cover is in excellent condition with some rubbing of the rear and on the tips of the corners, but really this is a fragile cover due to it's deep unlaminated black colour and thick card construction, in that it is very prone to shelfwear and loss of colour due to storing against other records. Considering it is now 44 years old it is in remarkable condition.
The heavyweight vinyl is in realy great shape and has a mirror like shine to both sides. I will however list is as Excellent Plus due to a very tiny non penetrative mark on Side One, but this is very minor and hard to see.
The record will be sent outside of it's cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12" cardboard stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailer made by Covers 33.
