Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

  • This is Love's first release on the Blue Thumb label in 1969 after leaving Elektra a few months earlier.
  • This Promotional Copy (designated by the clean corner cut) has never been played.
  • These thick vinyl records may be First Pressings but I can't tell from the matrix run-outs.
  • The paper on board gatefold cover has tight seams and a stiff spine. It shows no wear. There are a couple very small corner bumps.
  • The title and song strip at the top of the front cover are on a clear background sticker that was affixed during the collation process at the plant.
  • The Promo corner cut is upper right front.
  • The plain paper inner sleeves have yellowed with age. I have included soft plastic inner sleeves.
  • Love had a cult following in the Seller's record store and he was a big fan. Something about psychedelic images of L.A. He got this back-up copy from the Blue Thumb sales rep in 1969 and put it into storage for the last 46 years.
