Description
From 1966 we have for a no reserve auction an ultra rare, lightly played, “Not For Sale – Promotional” Kama Sutra Records “Extended Play” release by The Lovin’ Spoonful. I use the word “rare” for several reasons here. I have no idea about collectability of vinyl recordings and have never read or seen a “Goldmine Magazine” but I did spent my entire working life in the music industry so I think I’m entitled to my use of that word on what I recall from those days. The catalogue number on this disc is EK-1 and I think that might indicate this was the first ever EP released on the Kama Sutra label. I don’t recall many picture sleeves that carried the words “Not For Sale” as this one does. Vinyl has a high gloss surface and may never been played. Labels are perfect, without notations and are clearly marked “Special Disc Jockey Record – Not For Sale”. Picture sleeve having been stored in a heavy vinyl sleeve is without ring wear, has no cut through and strong corners. Selections: Nashville Cats, It’s Not Time Now, Henry Thomas and Darlin’ Companion. If you have questions about this item please make use of the “Ask The Seller A Question” option. We welcome your comments and suggestions on how we might improve the content of our listings. We also would appreciate corrections, if it appears our facts are wrong or misleading. If you have questions about the seller, please review our feedback. Postage in the Continental United States will be exactly what the USPS requires. We charge an additional $ 2.00 to cover the cost of a new mailer, pads and USPS Delivery Confirmation. If you win the auction, please do not pay till you receive an invoice directly from me. We accept PayPal and your personal check or USPS M.O. is always accepted. We are always willing to hold and combine items won to save on shipping costs. Items we list for auction are not available to anyone who has chosen the Private Feedback Profile. Be assured that the item pictured and described here is the item you will receive if you win this auction. Please wait till you receive an invoice from me before making any type of payment as eBay's invoicing is often incorrect and can cause a delay in shipping. Thanks for your time.
