Description

Up for auction is an EXCELLENT++ copy of DEXTER GORDONS' 1962 Blue Note classic # 4112 'Go!'. This very much sought after title is in GREAT, GREAT condition! The beautiful COVER is in EXCELLENT++ condition, i.e. all seams are intact, there's NOT a single crease to the laminated front, the colours are vital, the back panel is still very white and undamaged! The only thing that prevents me from a higher grading of this beauty is due to the fact, that the previous owner put the recording date in biro on the back panel (please see scan). Apart from this minor distraction the cover is in superb EXCELLENT++ condition! It'll be difficult to find a better copy!

Both LABELS feature the regular 1962 NEW YORK USA address. The VAN GELDER stamp is engraved in the trail off of on both sides. Both labels are very clean and without any damages to the spindle-hole. There's NO nasty spidermarks around the center hole (Please see scans). Both labels will grade as VG++/EXCELLENT.

The RECORD itself is VERY, VERY clean, i.e. NO marks, NO scratches! It's still VERY, VERY shiny & clean – it's mirrorlike! Playback is just fantastic! I would grade it as EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT!! The clarity and dynamic of this Van Gelder production is unbelievable! All in all a GREAT keeper copy of this BLUE NOTE rarity, which will never need an upgrade! Satisfaction guaranteed!

The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff record mailer with extra cardboard stiffeners for full protection!

Thanks for looking & good luck! Please feel free to contact me for further details!
