Description
The Fabulous Luckett Brothers - Judgement Day LP
Label: Private Press HSE Records #1496
Category: Gospel - Funk - R&B - Soul
Point Scale: NICE 8, or VG+ condition! Extra clean with high luster. Shows only very light sleeve scuffing...
Cover/Label: VG cover with some creases, wrinkles, and wear at outer edges and corners. All seams are intact and holding strong!
Comments: This one will surprise you! Lots of funky up-beat tempos. Also great soul vocals! The album takes over more as a funk/soul LP than a traditional gospel record. Don't let the cover fool you. This record is not as cheesy as it may seem. I assume it was made around the mid to late 70's, but the songs and sounds are more like some early 70's styles. Well, all you have to do is take a listen to a couple of the sound clips below. Tunes include God's Getting Us Ready For The Judgement Day, If You're Ready, Forgive Me Lord, Lay Down These Old Burdens, Jesus Help Us All, Came Into My Life, I'm Moving On, Lord I Want To Go, and others...
