description:
Rare lp of 3 excellent electronic and experimental works with Nono departing from his early career adherence to serialism to focus on texture and antifascist politics, "adopting wave-like alternating spatial and block sound complexes... Electronic orchestral undulations dominate; an ebb and flow of sound formations which combine to create an expressive tableau." Omaggio A Vedova, a purely electronic work realized at the legendary Studio di Fonologia Milano, is dedicated to the tachisme painter Emilio Vedova. Includes insert.

artist info from album notes etc.:
Nono was a postwar serialist composer (he was Arnold Schoenberg's son in law) and politically active socialist who was a student of Gian Francesco Malipiero, Hermann Scherchen, and Bruno Maderna, an associate of Luigi Dallapiccola, Luciano Berio, Pierre Boulez, Giacinto Scelsi, and Karlheinz Stockhausen, and an early electronic music pioneer at the Studio di Fonologia in Milan (where Henri Pousseur, Andre Boucourechliev, John Cage, and Bengt Hambraeus also worked). • Should also be of interest to fans of early electronic music like Pierre Schaeffer, Dick Raaijmakers, Tod Dockstader, Bernard Parmegiani, Pierre Henry, and Francois Bayle.

Packing I pack professionally and with the utmost care drawn from years of experience trading vinyl internationally. I use new record mailers which I have determined are the best and most protective, reinforced with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap padding. All records are shipped with poly plastic sleeves and with the vinyl outside of the cover to prevent damage. All packages are completely sealed with strong packing tape covering all openings. Unless requested, no paper invoice is included in the package, both to save trees and to avoid customs difficulties. If you'd like your package done any differently, just let me know.

Payment I accept Paypal (which allows for fastest possible shipment). Please email with any payment questions. If you are paying by Paypal and have won multiple items, please use a single Paypal payment. I will send an eBay invoice to winners shortly after my auctions close, and an email after payment has been received to confirm item shipment.

Other Info Feel free to email me if you have any questions (need more info, want more pictures, etc.); you can use eBay's 'ask a question' function. Records are visually graded unless otherwise noted; my condition rating scale is M (sealed) / NM (unplayed) / EX (barely used) / VG (some evident wear from prior use but no major flaws) / G (major flaws) / F (very major flaws).
