Luluc is a lofting fluttery piano and campfire guitar work towards your eardrums in the vein of Nick Drake and Belle and Sebastian’s softer balladry. Zoë Randel sings with such a simple pleasantness, she sends me to an early ’60s Newport Folk Festival, captivating the masses with a unique humility and yet an unwavering optimism for culture and progress.
