Lungfish Necklace of Heads LP Simple Machines/Dischord
DESCRIPTION: Mint condition copy of "Necklace of Heads", the first full-length LP by Lungfish. Simple Machines 2 1/2, Dischord Records 50 1/2. 1990. Includes Simple Machines insert, which is quite interesting to read.I have VERY FEW copies left of this record, and am not sure whether I'll be selling any more. So if you're looking for a mint condition copy, this may be your last chance...
Band members: Mitchell Feldstein, John Chriest, Daniel Higgs, Asa Osborne. Although Lungfish hail from Baltimore, Dischord thought they were so great that they started working with them, and started a friendship and working relationship that last for years and years.
CONDITION / PROVENANCE: Record is in absolutely pristine condition. It has been kept in a plastic sleeve away from light and dust for the last 22 years. What is hilarious is seeing how much the paper inner sleeve has aged, even though it was never exposed to light (see photos). Record has never been played. This record is unconditionally guaranteed to be original, from 1990. It comes from my (Jeff Nelson - Minor Threat/Dischord Records) punk archives, which are being downsized after continuing to be described variously as "too big" and "insane" or containing "more than my potential kids or grandkids will ever want."
