For sale is Luscious Jackson's Fever In Fever Out, released in 1996 by Grand Royal Records. In the dead wax between the label and the last track is stamped "Mastered At Capitol" followed by an etched-in word "Wally". This signifies that this record was mastered my Capitol's legendary cutting engineer Wally Traugott, who is known for his prowess at getting the best sound from vinyl. I bought this new and like all my records, cleaned it and put it away in a protective inner sleeve. This keeps any original inner sleeve or insert, as well as the vinyl from getting damaged. The original inner sleeve is Near Mint. The cover is Near Mint with a minor corner blunt and the spine has just a little bit of color loss. The vinyl is Near Mint, and sounds like new. This is the best copy of this album that I have seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one like it, being that it has become scarce. This has been played on state-of-the-art equipment and has a lot of life left to it. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
