Description
This is a superb near mint copy of the extremely rare double 10" first pressing of Lush's first full-length album from 1992 (4AD cad d 2002). It has been cherished and carefully stored in a PVC sleeve since it was purchased 23 years ago from Nottingham's renowned and much-missed Selectadisc.
Like most 4AD albums the design of the record (by the incredible Vaughn Oliver at v23) is an absolute work of art, with beautiful decoration on the outer sleeve, inner sleeve and labels. The outer sleeve has a gorgeous slightly pearlescent pink finish which is truly stunning.
The vinyl is in beautiful near mint condition with no scratches or marks and just the normal level of surface noise and the odd insignificant crackle in keeping with records of this age.
The outer sleeve is in near mint condition with no tears or creases, and the spine is also in beautiful condition. There is a tiny barely visible bit of scuffing to the open edge of the sleeve (see pictures). The inner sleeves are also near mint with no tears or creases.
