Lush-Gala (1990; 1-26463/9 26463-1) LP 4AD/Reprise US Release.
This is a rare compilation album of previously released mini-LP and singles with two previouly unreleased tracks. The packaging consists of an outer sleeve and printed multicolored inner sleeve.
Tracks A1 to A3: from 'Sweetness And Light' (BAD 0013).
Recorded at the Greenhouse, London. Mixed at Wessex Studios, London August 1990.
Tracks A4 to A7: from 'Mad Love' (BAD 0003). Recorded at September Sound and The Church, London, December 1989.
Tracks B1 to B6: from 'Scar' (JAD 911). Recorded at
Blackwing Studios, London, July 1989.
Track B7: ABBA cover. Recorded at First Protocol and September Sound, London, February 1990.
Track B8: Recorded at September Sound, London, April
1990.
Note: All records I list are from my personal archive. They have been shelved upright in a clean, cool dry environment. Attempts to capture a clear photo of the record condition has proved fruitless. Because of this, I'm grading on the low end to assure the buyer the best accurate description for the most enjoyable listening experience.
*Gold-Stamped Promotional Cover is in VG+ to EX condition with some very very light ring & edge wear, some very very light hairline surface marks mostly on lower half front & back and a price label on front. Nice Glossy Record is in EX to NM condition with some very very light superficial hairline marks on Side 1. Sound quality is EX. Playback is flawless. Labels are in NM condition. Printed multicolored glossy paper inner sleeve is in VG+ to EX condition with a small seam split on one side and on the bottom edge.
