Lynyrd Skynyrd : "Second Helping" LP MCA-413
1975 US pressing. Includes the original company MCA inner sleeve, in NM condition.
Lynyrd Skynyrd's second studio album.
Includes their iconic classic "Sweet Home Alabama", "I Need You" and "Don't Ask Me No Questions".
Lynyrd Skynyrd was led by Ronnie Van Zant, who together with two of his bandmates was killed in a tragic airplane crash in 1977, at the peak of his career.
This album was produced by the legendary Al Kooper.
Outstanding sound quality on this well recorded album.
Superb, clean wax ... plays "like new".
Downgraded from NM to NM- due solely to light superficial paper scuffs / hairlines, which have no discernible impact on sound quality.
Super high gloss remains.
Labels are clean and bright, look just a wee bit shy of "like new".
Nice clean jacket in EX condition.
Front color artwork is clear and rich. Trace of sticker residue in upper right corner.
Back B&W photos are clear and bright, with clear text. Minor ring wear present.
A tiny portions of the jacket back slick is missing in the bottom left corner. (See photos)
Seams and spine are solid. No splits. Spine print clearly legible.
Matrix numbers etched in the dead wax read:
Side 1: MCA-438 W-1 KENDUN A (square symbols) -G- (square symbols)
Side 2: MCA-439 W-1 KENDUN X (square symbols) -G- (square symbols)
