Lynyrd Skynyrd Street Survivors + souvenir program AND SUPER-RARE PROMO 45

Included in this auction are three (3) items;

1st item; an original issue of the ‘Street Survivors’ record.  The record has a few very minor scuffs, but no deep scratches, no skips or ‘pops’ and is very clean without fingerprints, grime, marks, etc.  Center hole shows little wear, would grade as EX or VG++, approaching NM-.   The cover is glossy and clean, in VG+ with no splitting and only minor ring-wear showing.  Corners have only minor blunting and wear beginning.  The ‘title’ side-edge is clean with virtually no wear, with the lettering all clearly and easily visible.  Only real item of note regarding the cover is some creasing to the upper-left rear cover, approx. 2 inches in length, which is visible in the pictures.  The two original inserts are included, and are both clean and supple, would call them both VG+.  The record was probably played no more than a half-dozen times, as I would record all my records to cassettes and listen to those, and store the vinyl record in mylar.

2nd item; the 1977 Lynyrd Skynyrd Tour Book from Street Survivors.  Published by Brockum International after the plane crash, 24 pages, with great color and b&w photos, a two page history of the band up to Street Survivors, a discography page, and a simple list of names on the back cover is the only mention of the crash.   Measures about 9" X 12 1/2".  Clean, glossy, very little wear with only a handful of ‘spider creases’ along the spine.  Item is not in the cellophane wrap.

3rd item; the super-rare ‘Gimme Back My Bullets’ LIVE 45 RPM, which was a promo item (see the pix).

Here’s the back story; in 1977, when there was no internet, and TicketMaster and TicketTron (remember them?) were in their early years, you often had to mail away for concert tickets.  When Skynyrd (along with Ted Nugent, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, and T Rex) played at Anaheim Stadium in Aug ’77, I mailed away for tickets.  When the tickets arrived, it came with a note stating that after the show I would be receiving a special promotional item in the mail.  I was 14 years old, and didn’t even know what that meant, and promptly forgot about the note.  Then, about 2 months after the concert, completely unexpected, a package arrives in the mail with this 45 RPM record.   

I’ve seen this item mentioned twice on the Skynyrd fanclub blog, but rarely talked about, my guess is that very few still exist.  I ‘Googled’ it as well, to no avail, and have never seen one for sale on EBay, so don’t even know how to price this item, but it’s clearly pretty rare.  Condition is VG, with some scuffing and clear surface wear, but nothing too deep.  No skips, but some surface noise typical to the grade.  Sleeve is worn with some mild tanning and some tearing (see pictures).
