Sealed in a lose mylar sleeve, not shrink wrapped

This LP comes from the collection of a doctor who lived in Springfield MA. The collection was amassed over many decades and judging from the equipment (early Thorens turntable, McIntosh electrics, beautiful Electro-Voice EV1 speakers), this gentleman was meticulous with his possessions. The collection was very large and I got only small portion of it. Every record I looked at was in lovely condition. Most covers were similarly fine. I will be listing many items from this collection over the next months.

Some newer collectors of classical music may not be familiar with me. I worked for many many years with Leslie Gerber at Parnassus Records. Parnassus Records started selling records by mail in 1969 and for many years was in the top two or three classical LP mail order houses in the world. From 1993 until Parnassus closed in 2008 I was "Lord High Everything Else", grading and shipping thousands and thousands of records every year. I was also in charge of the website and with it, much customer care. My time with Parnassus taught me lots about how to grade and pack LPs and even more about what classical music fans expect from their mail order experience. Incidentally, while Parnassus Records ceased the used LP operation in 2008, Leslie still publishes a fine line of classical music CD re-issues. The old website contains copies of all old mail order catalog from past years. These catalogs remain a good source of discographical information. Please read the disclaimer motes carefully.

Apologies delayed reply.
Have tried to see how I can ascertain the answer  to your question without breaking seal.
Sorry, I'm afraid it can't be done.
Given the spread of this collection, I would guess that it is  early.
To be frank, I've heard both Decca and Nimbus pressing on Lyritas,  and the difference is not huge.
YMMV, of course.
