A forgotten psychedelic-pop masterpiece? Well, maybe, it comes close. The music on this album (written entirely by Mark Lindsay) is definitely on the baroque/popsike side, sounding kind of like a mixture of the swingi9ng london sounds of '67, and flows very nicely, with one strong song after another. "Too Much Talk" is the strongest, with a Nazz-like sound. The album has a kind of 1966-1967 feel, with a lot of fairly elementary "psych" effects like delay and phasing, and a certain amount of "wow, peace and love" in the lyrics (although Mark manages to get in the obligatory anti-drug-and-craziness song in "Burn Like a Candle"). But if you like that sort of thing, this is definitely worth checking out.
An underrated and sometimes unknown album awaiting for discovery or rediscovery ...
