SCARCE 1968 FIRST PRINTING on the old RCA VICTOR label. Joyful Noise were an early hippie rock crew with a melodious double guitars & keyboard line up, not unlike others from the "Bosstown Sound" sector which was a spin off of the West Coast rock scene of the era...

Good luck finding much about this short-lived Northeastern band ...  What little is known comes from the brief liner notes on their self-titled 1968 album; that basically being the band's line up consisted of guitarist David W. Hanni, keyboardist Wolcott W. Pugh, bassist David M. Rowe, guitarist John C. Rowe and drummer Eric C. Von Ammon.  This 1968 LP"Joyfull Noise" was recorded in RCA's New York Studio. 

Seen this Joyful Noise Lp described as being psych-ish.  While not an outright lie, consider most of it to be creative.  Featuring all original material (largely penned by the group), a couple of tracks like 'People Get Together', 'Animals, Flowers and Children' and 'Mirrors' had a light Beatlesque psych flavor, but for the most part the album was better described as being rock oriented.  While their psych moves are successful (check out "Onyx Green Glass"), those numbers are stronger than their pop/rock moves.  Highlights include the tougher sound like 'Yes She Did' and the catchy 'What Me Worry?' showing that the band certainly had the talent to do well ...

CONDITION: The cover is all clean and solid with only a small delete at bottom, "EX" (excellent) overall, held up pretty well being 42 years old...

The vinyl is very clean Mint, with no marks...the grooves on both side are sparkling clean and the RCA Victor labels are mint too...
